Why do we follow links on Facebook? Why do we start searching through one person’s Instagram page and end up on someone else’s?  Why do we track trending hashtags on twitter? Can it be because we are just simply being curious? Curiosity is a part of human nature; it is a quality most of us possess. And it is also the reason I can not seem to pay attention to the paper I am meant to be reading. Instead I find myself continuously staring out the window and watching my peers move past me, making me wonder where they are going and what they are doing.

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” (Walt Disney, 2007) Without curiosity human kind would have little motivation to keep learning. New information and technologies would probably be considered a burden. Everything around us is constantly changing and without it we would not thrive to keep up.  Curiosity allows us to expand our knowledge on things we find intriguing and interesting.
